Sunday Secrets

Hi everybody! It's JessTrev here with a few links I've been reading here and there while recovering from a bout of H1N1 in the fam. Unsurprisingly, many of them are food-related! Hope everyone had a great Halloween (ohmigosh, one of our neighbors made cotton candy! Why mess around with all the other stuff when you can just caramelize straight sugar, eh, and no plastic, Beth!). Also hope that you're easing your way into fall with a stash of pumpkin puree on hand. Ifn you don't have 100+ pounds by your back door like Green Bean!

What a meaningful post that soft-still-quiet-happy post is for us moms. Of course, I think the point is to find a happy medium but it is a good reminder.

Hey GB, yes, I love Laura from Center Down Home. She often finds ways to really make me think about being a thoughtful parent. And, of course, since I know I think and overthink many things, it's great to have her reminder of my children's paramount needs for balance.

I appreciated the link to Niman's eater's guide to avoiding factory farmed meat. It's a good one. Thank you. Dr. Weil's squash soup looks pretty good too.
