I believe the children are our future...teach them well, and let them lead the way...

OK, so I've totally dated myself as a child of the 80s. But that old (Whitney Houston?) song speaks a truth: Our children are a all too-clear mirror of how we lead our lives. And boy, have I got a lot to learn.

Whether it's watching my daughter play mom, making her lists and talking about work, or my 2 year old saying most impatiently, "'Mon guys," I realize more and more each day of the footprint I'm leaving behind. And it's not just carbon.

I'm glad to be sharing with you a small part of my journey as a wife, as a mother, as a woman, as a person just trying to make a small difference in this world. And hopefully, in my not-so-perfect journey, you can find a sliver of inspiration too. I'm glad to have you along for the ride!
