Always Room for One More

The Green Phone Booth is a funny place.  It doesn't look that big on the outside but inside, it's like one of those Harry Potter tents.  Roomy and spacious, cozy and welcoming and, here, there is always room for one more.  Or, three more as 2012 would have it.

The Booth is thrilled to welcome the following new writers to our magical eco-tent this year:

Fighting Climate Change from her Canadian perch, EcoYogini uses “Yoga Fire” and other such various moves to protect our planet. By day she's a Francophone Speech-Language Pathologist, but by night her Mudras emerge to reveal an apartment dwelling, lobster loving, Kick-Asana Eco-Heroine!

EcoYogini can be found in her favorite pose, here at the Booth, every other Friday.  She posts regularly at her personal blog, EcoYogini.

Kelly Green Giant

The Kelly Green Giant seems somewhat normal on the surface, but underneath she is a bionic wonder of modern science. Her skull is held together with titanium screws put there by a neurosurgeon who tried to
fix her brain but couldn’t quite get all the green out. She spends her days chasing her preschool-age son and usually another boy or two she collects along the way, hanging loads of laundry on the clothesline,
feeding compost to her backyard chickens, taking every freelance
writing opportunity that comes her way, and studying to be a nurse.

Kelly joined the Booth in mid-November and will be lighting up the Booth every other Thursday in 2012.  She writes regularly at her personal blog, MissKellany.

The Homegrown Mama

By day she’s just another mom wiping noses, playing trains, changing diapers, and reading lots of stories.  But during those precious moments when her children sleep, she’s researching and fighting; fighting for a world with fewer toxins at every turn.  When the little ones awake, The Homegrown Mama teaches them to appreciate the world around them by getting out in nature and living.  Together with her family, she strives to learn how to keep adding one more step toward sustainability, one local adventure at a time!

The Homegrown Mama dons her cap every other Wednesday here at the Booth or regularly at her personal blog, Pug in the Kitchen.

Please join us in welcoming these fabulous new women to the Green Phone Booth.
