April's Theme: Homemade Snacks

We hope you enjoyed our posts about Spring Cleaning during March. Next up, we are tackling the subject of Homemade Snacks. I recently heard on NPR that neither French adults nor children snack. Well, shoot, I do! And so do my kids. It can be hard to find homemade replacements for store-bought snacks (chips, crackers, granola bars, pretzals, and so on), but store-bought snacks sometimes have weird ingredients and often involve excessive amounts of packaging. This month we'll be sharing recipes and ideas for homemade snacks.

At the end of April we'll have a linky where you can link up your already published or newly published homemade snack post. You could also leave a recipe in the comments. If you have a fantastic homemade snack recipe, I hope you'll share it!

I'm looking forward to this! I have been cutting out processed foods, but I still find myself wanting crackers, granola bars, etc. I have been trying out some recipes with very little success (and very little flavor) and hope to learn some from you guys!

After a little trial-and-error, I have a good granola bar recipe I'm excited to share. I'm hoping to pick up a few new recipes this month myself. Hoping readers have some goodies they want to share.
