We use foil to wrap our celery and have found that it stays really crisp this way for weeks and you don&amp;#39;t lose nutrients by soaking them in water. If we&amp;#39;re going to throw som...</title><content type='html'>Great post Erin! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If we&amp;#39;re going to throw something (food or plastic) away anyway, I&amp;#39;d much rather throw a rotten head of lettuce into my compost heap than a plastic bag into the landfill. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We store asparagus standing up in the fridge with the bottoms in a bowl of water. Also, store bananas away from your other produce.
